St. Xavier, Badin, Wyoming, Taft atop OHSAA computer football rankings

In the most recent high school football computer rankings released by the Ohio High School Athletic Association, four Greater Cincinnati teams lead their respective regions.

In the findings tabulated by JoeEitel.com, St. Xavier, Badin, Wyoming and Taft are currently No. 1.

In Division I, Region 4, St. Xavier’s Bombers maintained the top spot with their running clock Greater Catholic League-South title win over La Salle. Moeller, with a dramatic tw-point conversion beating Cleveland St. Ignatius is at No. 2. Lakota West goes back to the third spot, with Lakota East fourth. Lakota West visits Colerain this week before their regular-season finale hosting Lakota East. 

In Division II, Region 8, Kings of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference remains unbeaten at 8-0 but 7-0 Piqua takes a slight numerical lead for No. 1, according to the computer. Two spots behind Kings at No. 4 is 6-2 Anderson who has defeated Winton Woods and Division I Milford in consecutive weeks. La Salle (4-3) drops to fifth, with Winton Woods at No. 6 after defeating Turpin (No. 9).
