Major JAB Sports Radio expands neighborhood programming with new sports midday display

Atlantic Coast Radio is happy to announce that it has included a third live and local sporting activities get in touch with-in show to its programming lineup on Huge JAB Sporting activities Radio WJJB (96.3 and 92.5 FM). Debuting Wednesday, Dec. 1, “Middays with Mannix and Mannix,” hosted by native Mainers Jeff and Taylor Mannix, will air weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. With this addition to the station’s weekday lineup, Huge JAB Sporting activities Radio will be Maine’s only “live and local” sports activities station, airing regional call-in programming every weekday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

According to Atlantic Coastline Radio Normal Manager Jon Van Hoogenstyn, “A regional midday present has been a very long-time desire from several of our travel time listeners and we have responded. As a domestically owned and unbiased Maine broadcaster, we consider in the ‘live and local’ call-in system. Our listeners are passionate, loyal, and engaged with our programming. The call-in structure offers members of our nearby and regional sports enthusiast local community a opportunity to take part in a dialogue about a thing they like. For quite a few, it is an escape from the chaos all-around us and we’ve witnessed that need for relationship grow as we emerged from the pandemic and sports have returned.”

In accordance to a report by Nielsen, sports information continues to prosper with 23 million Us residents tuning in to athletics radio weekly. The report signifies that 8 out of 10 sporting activities radio listeners are educated and affluent.
